This adapter is great and has a multitude of services. But the so called 328 feet range is questionable. I have my computer downstairs and the only place I can pickup a signal enough to surf the internet on or sync my PDA is in my room which is directly above my office. Other than that fact I am quite pleased with it.

Garbage-Waste of $14.99 + s/h, August 22, 2006

This device does not work. When I called to return this item for a refund, the company wants to charge me 15% because I do not have the original shipping packaging to return the defective adapter in on top of paying for return shipment charges. I was given an authorization code to return the item, however, upon further investigation found that Tiger Direct will not accept returns on this product. Gee! I wonder why? Quality Control and Customer Satisfaction at Tiger Direct is sorely lacking.

Installation of the software does not work atall and no support also, July 16, 2006

Waste of time and money... I have tried atleast 10 times trying to install the software from the CD that got shipped with the device.... no use. No support from the vendor...
In the forum... looks like many people are already having the problem.... and the vendor has not made any attempt to resolve the issue....
Strongly suggest to buy some other product...

This item would not pair whatsoever with my motorola razr v3c. The kinamax support was very unhelpful. They did not try to troubleshoot and told me it just wasn't compatible. This device uses bluesoleil software to link to bluetooth devices. There is limited documentation with this software and no support. I bought a dlink bluetooth adapter which uses widcomm drivers and it worked within minutes, so spend $10 more and get the dlink adapter and save yourself the trouble I went through.

i purchased this thinking it was a good deal...WRONG! A big waste of money! It paired with my bluetooth phone..but then it didnt even do anything else saying it failed to detect bluetooth services...and it wouldn't even let me use widcomm drivers and forced me to use BlueSoleil, spend your money on another product

i brought this item last month. could not get it to pair/bond any of my bluetooth items and none of my bluetooth could pair/bond with it. i contacted kinamax tech by email reguesting a RMA number because tigerdirect.com would not except it back without one from the manufactor. kinamax sent me a link with the driver included telling me i needed that for it to work. i emailed them back that it came with one, i had installed it and it still did not work, please send the RMA so i could return it to tigerdirect. they emailed me back asking me what OS i was using and what items were i trying to bond with their bluetooth adapter. now a week has gone by and i'm playing email tag with them and i called them about this. the tech i got asked for my email addess, read the emails, then proceeded to tell me that I must be doing something wrong because it did work and they did not issued refunds or returns because of human error or just because i wasn't computer savy enough. i can't put in words how mad i was. my husband had to take over the call. then they began to argue about how did the tech know which it was human error or bad bluetooth adapter. in the end the tech refused to issue the RMA but offered to send us another. after all this i didn't want another one i wanted a refund. so we ended the called, contacted tigerdirect.com. they issued us a rma no problem. if you buy any products from kinamax, beware of their customer service. its anything but. the item only cost about 15.00, so you get what you pay for, in customer service also!!!!!
