This is a great usb bluetooth dongle. It is really cheap and very easy to use. I purchased this to put ringtones on my verizon phone using the serial port profile. Worked like a charm. One caution though, the software that comes bundled with the unit is garbage and does not work. However the product worked great after updating to the newer software which can be found at the IVT website.You can download a free demo of the software.

This product is horrible. The ad may say it works with your phone but chances are it won't. The software provided is not sufficient to use bluetooth adapter and online downloads that apparently make it work are sketchy at best. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

I got what I paid for. It doesn't hold a connection with my phone very well when I am sitting right next to my computer. Great price at $4 though.

Does not work with my bluetooth headset, February 10, 2007

The advertised product is like a car without any wheels for mobility.
The product description says that this bluetooth dongle is "Compatible with all bluetooth devices". But, the bluetooth software (Bluesoleil) that came along with the dongle doesn't have a VoIP profile to support my Motorola headset, for use with my PC. And the Bluesoleil's website demands money for an upgrade to accommodate VoIP.
The product is not worth returning because the shipping cost will be as much as the product cost.

Illegal Software and Updated Only Allows 5MB download, January 22, 2007

The software does not work and in fact it is illegal. When you get an updated version then it is limited 5MB download which does not work too well with mp3's. The company will not respond. Don't buy this piece of junk, you will regret it.

I bought this piece more than 2 months ago, and it has worked extremely well since then. Great connection range, no problems at all. Easily recognized by OS and very easy installation of the software. I gave 4 stars to it, because of the software bundle with it, not because of the quality. This product certainly does what it is intended for.

I have bought so many items from these folks that they have become friends! The service is just that good. Excellent prices, and while the instructions are often times hard to understand, the products tend to be easy enough to use, and the prices so good, that it is worth it.

I placed the order, and four days later received the device in new condition. Driver installation was somewhat confusing as no instructions were included, but once I began setup from the CD, drivers, programs, and all driver issues were worked out and solved automatically by the setup. Works seamlessly with my Samsung SYNC phone and IBM Thinkpad T42. I would definitely order from this seller again if the occasion should arise.

I received the dongle, installed the software and then spent hours trying to find someone in tech support who could assist me with getting it to work properly. In the end, I returned the item and was very disappointed. The company I purchased it through was EXCELLENT! Their return policy was very fair and they credited my account immediately while also sending several follow up e-mails to verify the return and the credit. I would definitely do business with them again.
